Andy Butt

Andy Butt has been our fulltime Community Youth Worker since late 2019. He is passionate about supporting young people and helping them to flourish and very much enjoys working with us in Tiptree.  He came into this role after a career change following 30 years working within the IT industry. Alongside that he had many years of youth work experience in the voluntary sector.

Married, Andy has two grown up children, one locally, the other currently on the other side of the world. Young grandchildren are a joy to him and his wife.  Away from Youthwork Andy enjoys being active, riding his bike(s) or paddling a canoe or SUP. He say he also spends far too much of his time watching Essex Non-league Football or Welsh Rugby. He also volunteers as a Rail Pastor, a suicide intervention programme operating in the south west of the county.

A Christian since his teens Andy describes himself as Anglican by default not necessarily design!
